COVID-19 Policy
Here is my policy:
Arrival:
- Please arrive on time for your appointment, not early or late. I have a specific amount of time allotted for appointments plus cleaning and can't guarantee time to make up for late appointments.
- You can text me when you arrive and then come wait in the sunroom. I will come up and get you when I am ready.
- You will be asked the same screening questions at the door as you were asked before we booked your appointment. Please be honest for your safety and mine. Appointments can be rescheduled.
- Limit personal items brought to the salon. I would be happy to receive your ideas for your nail appointment PRIOR to the appointment. Once hands have been sanitized and service has started your hands are mine.
- Bring a water bottle if needed as we won't be serving beverages.
- Masks are mandatory, please bring one with you if you have one available, however if you don't I would be happy to supply you with one for free.
Entering:
- Please have your mask on and ready to go. If you don't have one with you, let me know and i'll have you put it on before you sanitize your hands.
- When entering my house, you will be required to wipe down your water bottle and cell phone (if it is absolutely necessary at the appointment), THEN sanitize your hands at the sanitizing station.
- Come to your appointments alone. No additional guests or children will be allowed with you. If someone is picking you up please have them wait outside for you. If we need to adjust your appointment to accommodate childcare, please call me to reschedule.
- There will be no beverages, magazines, toys, or waiting area available.
- I will be accepting eTransfers, Credit, Debit. Cash is not preferred however if you have to use cash, please bring exact change as I will not be giving cash back. All payments can be made at my station.
- We hope to limit bathroom usage, so please use the washroom before you come, however ours is available if needed
Online Booking:
- All appointments made through Online Booking have to be approved by me. Appointments will not be set in stone until approved.
Things to Consider:
- I will not be booking myself back to back as I have in the past. This is not the place or time to fill up the schedule..
- With this being said I would greatly appreciate you pre-booking your appointments so neither of us is stressed to fit you into the schedule.
- I will NOT be booking outside of my business hours, so it may mean you have to wait a little longer than normal for appointments.
Illness Screening:
- I will attach a copy of the Government of Manitoba screening tool to each new booked appointment via text or email. Please read the questions carefully and respond "Yes" or "No."
- If you respond to any of the questions “Yes”, please state which one and we will need to look at either scheduling you for a different date or rescheduling your appointment.
I, in turn, will be following the same policies, so if any of my clients come in feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone unwell and are not truthful about it, it may mean I have to take 14 days off unpaid and cancel on my other clients. Please take the screening questions seriously when entering my home.
Here is the Government Screening Questions:
Government regulations require us to ask these questions BEFORE booking an appointment and we will have them posted at the salon and you will be asked again once you arrive for your appointment.

- Do you have a new onset of any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or do you have any two of the following symptoms: runny nose, muscle aches, fatigue, loss of taste or smell, headache, hoarse voice or nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea for more than 24 hours?
- Have you been in contact in the last 14 days with someone that is confirmed to have COVID-19?

If you are feeling unwell in any way, please call/text to rebook your appointment. There are no cancellation fees, for rescheduled appointments at this time.
If I become sick in any way I will be staying home and cancelling appointments as well.
Lets work together to stay healthy during this time.
